Answer: Because your nipples are inverted, you should really go to a reputable piercer, have them take a look, and see if it's possible for you to be pierced. It can definitely (!) make a difference.
As for the pain factor, piercings never hurt as badly as you think they will. The actual experience can't live up to what a nervous mind will create. Women generally say that nipple piercings hurt less than men do, but just know that it is very bearable and if it was excruciating, people wouldn't get it done as often as they do.
i got mine pierced about 2 years ago, it wasnt painful, but i have a high tolerace for pain, also it depends if you are a guy or girl, guys hurt a lot more than girls (im a girl) i dont know about the inverted thing. call a tattoo parlor and ask.
