If Love is Such a Good Thing, then Why Does It End Up Hurting?

Another love question has come in this week. Let’s tackle it straight away:

Question: And why do you end up hurting the people you love, and they hurting you?
Answer: Love can be a wonderful and beautiful thing but then again every great thing is not always meant to be or last. But "It's better to have Loved and lost, then to have never Loved at all." Think about that…

Good question…..I been pondering over that myself for some time now! I think love is a good thing and the evil twist to it is that it hurts. Cause it would be to easy other wise I guess.

The amount of pain caused to you is directly proportional to the feelings you have for the other one. The less/more you feel, the less/more you suffer.
Check yourself and see if there is a pattern in your behavior or tendency to date the wrong kind: this question sounds as if you were going through this situation on and on…

If we all knew the answer to that then no-one would ever want to fall in love or would they? Love is the biggest mystery that most humans search for all there lives. Love is like a big ball of emotions, feeling, all senses rolled into one. Love is unpredictable and at the same time scary, sad, happy, exciting, and it hurts at times. But love really is a good thing when two people care enough for each other and overcome any obstacle with respect and trust.

well thats a hard question, u know that sometimes u can't always stay the same person 4 the rest ov your life. If u hurt someone u end up getting hurt back all u could do is apologize to the person that u love.

Lessons. Lessons. Lessons. Love is all about learning lessons about ourselves and about life. The beauty that balances the pain is found in the lessons learned. Fail to learn the lessons and one will only experience pain. Every "love cup" is half full and half empty - pain and lessons.

Good luck

Because we are IMPERFECT human beings, and we do things that we sometimes don't mean to do and regret later after having time to think about it.Humans don't aways think before they act.

There is never pleasure without pain. It's like the sun and the rain…darkness and light. It is Nature doing what it does best…balanceing and evening things out.

Were there is a smile, there is a tear.
Were there is bravery, there is fear.
Were there is hope, there is despair.
For every stitch there is a tear.

It is how we learn in life that things aren't always as they seem.Love is such a wonderful experience, but great joy can bring huge pain when things go wrong and the situation is turned around.People usually hurt the person they love because they have lost that same connection that was so important in the relationship.I doubt that in the main they do this deliberately but they dont want to be there anymore and this is the result
Remember our hearts are fragile but they also mend and fall in love again.
