I Want to Send a Gift to My Grandad in the Hospital- Are Flowers OK?

I just love answering these sending flowers questions. Here’s another:

Question: I can't send chocolate or wine, as he is too ill for that, so it's the only thing I can think of to send, but I'm never sure whether flowers are OK for a man.
He is in another country, so I can't visit him in person :(
Answer: Some hospitals don't allow flowers on certain wards now, you would be best checking. My partners mum was recently in hospital and she couldn't have any on the ward she was on.

Im Wondering if It is Possible to Send My Mum Flowers over in New York for when She Gets Married. Anyone??

What’s this week’s sending flowers question? Let’s dive straight in…

Question: She get smarried in Decemeber and wanted to surprise her with flowers as I wont be able to make it.
Answer: You've got at least two options.

1) (Easy but expensive) use Interflora. You go to your local flower shop that is part of the Interflora scheme and choose the type of arrangement you want and the card and message to be included. This order is passed to the florist's in New York who creates the bouquet or whatever, and delivers it to your mum.

2) (More effort, but cheaper) Look on the internet for a florist in New York. Order over the internet or by phone. Pay by credit card.

Should I Send Flowers/rose to a Girl Prior to the First Date?

Keep the sending flowers questions coming! I liked this one:

Question: I've met a girl recently (only the once on a night out) and we have been communicating really well via text & msn etc… Were going out soon for a drink and i'm picking her up in the evening and were going for a few drinks in a nice bar. I was thinking about sending her some flowers/rose at her work on the day of the date! With a little note inside saying something like "looking forward to seeing you tonight" I thought this would be a little different from giving them to her on the night, but worried it might be a bit to much! She works in a big office with lots of colleagues and friends, just thought it would be really flattering! Your comments please!
Answer: good lord boy don't worry so much! she is going to love this!….i would not send roses tho…something a little less "i love you"….maybe carnations??? I hope yall have a great time…good luck!

When Did You Last Send or Receive a Lovely Bunch of Flowers?

Question: I was sent lovely flowers a few months ago. Lillies and pink roses they lasted for over two weeks.
Oh E didnt mean to upset you . Hey the same man would send you a bunch to , hes lovely.
Answer: A lovely ex-colleague of mine who has kept in regular contact, arranged a luncheon this week and gave me a beautiful arrangement of flowers just because!

I Dated a Girl for a Little While, We Broke Up and I Want to Get Back with Her. Should I Send Flowers?

A tough sending flowers question this week. Let’s dive straight in

Question: I dated a girl for about 2 months and we moved slow and were both ok with that. we went on a trip with a bunch of people. during the trip something went wrong. i think we spent a little too much time together so we both backed off for the rest of the trip. After the trip i tried to return to normal but she stayed reserved and didn't try to make our conversations work, so we broke up. She wanted to be just friends and see if our conversation sparks returned when we hung out in a group. She said she wanted it to work, and wanted things to go back to how they were but didnt know if they could. We havent had a chance to hang out in a group but we have talked and it went alright. It doesnt see like there will be a chance for us to hang out in a group any time real soon. Should i send her flowers, show her i really care and ask her to go out? Are the flowers going over board? Should i wait until the next time our group hangs out?
Answer: Mate if it's not to be it won't be. My old mum said to me, what is for you won't go past you.

This is so very true.

Question: i have been having some problems with my ex…we have been having a rough time. i want to get back with her and i have been nasty to her and i want to make up with her and treat her specail. i have said some nasty things to her at work infront of her works mates. do you think i should send her some flowers at work cos i love the girl
Answer: I don't believe you love her at all if you humiliated her infront of collegues!
