Answer: it isnt really the safest way is it, i mean how can you be sure the person is who they are saying they are. try a registered dating agency where they have already been vetted.

Sounds like it is getting off to a good start. You are right to let him make the next move. Guys tend to be scared off when a girl takes the initiative…go figure. Wait and let him prove himself to ya quite a bit and make sure he is interested before getting too invested. I have been single since March and for the past few months I have tried to meet that someone special through internet dating. I have not had much luck so far and am about to give up entirely! Most of the guys I have met have either; a) wanted weird sex b) wanted only sex and have been cyber-dating numerous partners c) have been socially inappropropriate and/or d) have clearly lied about who they are! Where am I going wrong here? Has anyone out there had success and found love (or anything remotely genuine and meaningful) through internet dating???

Answer: You have to give yourself permission to trust another person. There could be something in your past that makes you a little nervous about getting hurt. It's the chance we take when we fall in love, but it's a gamble and we aren't promised anything, I mean when in life are we promised anything so why should love be different.
Choose your mate wisely, make sure he's committed and respectful, make your intentions clear and as does he. Don't jump in too quick and don't be too judgmental.
With joy sometimes comes sorrow but don't deprive yourself of the wonderful feeling of being in love. What's the expression 'It's better to have love and lost than not love at all".
